I was lusting over
Current/Elliott's entire denim collection, which
I've written about before, when it struck me how delicate the balance between stylish and tacky is with denim dresses. Let me illustrate:
GOOD

BAD

What is it that makes such a difference: good tailoring? Simplicity? At the very least, we can probably all agree that getting married in denim is a bad start.

Haha!! Oh man, Britney and Justin, what were you thinking?? I have denim trapeze-ish top that I love wearing because it's loose and comfy. I was concerned at first because I thought it looked mommy, but the sales guy was like, "Uh, I don't think my mom would wear that." So I bought it.
but, i would just like to point out, no matter how tackily he dons his denim, brett michaels can really do no wrong with his. although i WAS afraid the britney/justin photo was of him at first glance. eek.
This post is awesome, I almost died when I saw that denim wedding dress. I had never thought about that thin line though, well put.
