fickle about florals

i had to read this post by the vintage society and laugh. in it she talks about how she had always had a huge disdain for 90s-era fashion and culture but is now strangely attracted to it.

i'm the exact same way. i've always HATED florals, especially teensy tiny ones, and now i can't get enough of them. i want to wear nothing but tea dresses in dainty floral prints.

a few years ago i hated gold with a passion, only to one day wake up with an urge for not just gold, but TACKY gold. big blingy chains, vintage 70s owl pendants, and everything disco-era obnoxious.

i have these so-called fashion epiphanies every time i let aggressive trends slowly seep into my subconscious.

this is why i can never get married.
