i'm in love with dogs; i can't imagine living without one. so when i move to my own place and get settled, my first task is to get a puppy. my problem is that i go through phases where i want different kinds. my list has been approximately something like "shetland sheepdog, leonberger, golden retriever, labrador, papillon, shetland sheepdog, corgi, german shepherd, poodle, papillon, corgi,...etc., ad nauseum." the fact of the matter is i'd be happy with any kind of dog (except maybe a beagle, ick.)
when i was looking at papillon pictures obsessively via flickr, i found this photostream featuring the silliest, happiest little papillon in japan.
she has a huge tongue that flops out of her mouth, like so
a ton of doggy friends,
and a slew of amazing outfits.
this papillon is equally darling and arguably even more well-dressed:
