can't stop listening.
Hooooo boy, I haven't listened to Camera Obscura in forever. I love this song.
ZOMG.
My cats have been fighting for months, but they've been kind of sort of getting along recently. Just today, Ichi was sleeping, and Sookie (who is the one delaying their inevitable romance) gingerly walked over and laid down next to him. Then Ichi made out with her back. I tried to get my camera but it's dead, so these crappy photobooth shots will have to do!
doppelgangers.
Do you ever see a photograph and think, "Whoa, that looks like me", even if it's just a tiny snippet? I had that response to this picture. Maybe it's the shorts.

it's a bummer heights high.
My stupidly misbehaved cat, Ichi, busted the hinge on my Macbook Pro. I was sitting on the couch with my laptop in my lap, and he tried to jump OVER the screen to get to me. Instead, his paws caught the screen and as he fell, he bent it back too far. I guess I should be flattered, but I'm just reeeeeally pissed. It's not ruined, but now it bends back way more than it should and it flops shut from a certain angle. I want to take it to the Mac store, but I know it'll be ridiculously expensive to fix, and I have to avoid the one in Richmond for certain reasons. Le sigh. I DO NOT LIKE MY KITTY TODAY.
wedding!
I went to a wedding on Saturday (CONGRATULATIONS CLARA) and it was all so perfect. The weather, her sheltie as the ring-bearer, the music, the food, the laid-back atmosphere. She looked absolutely gorgeous (and the groom didn't look half-bad, either). All in all, as a not-very-romantic-person, I looooved it. To respect her privacy, I won't post photos of her, but this is what *I* wore.

bloggy blog.
I haven't been posting much lately, mostly because I'm in a transitional period of my life (um...I do realize this phase has been going on for about a year now). I'm looking for jobs in my city, figuring out long-term plans, and looking to carve out my own little niche. So, at the moment, I'm trying to decide what to focus this blog on. (I realize that this specific indecisiveness has been going on for quite some time as well.)
Looking back, I sometimes used this space for things that were better left to personal diaries and conversations. I don't regret revealing my struggles with mental health issues, because I do think there's an unnecessary stigma towards them. But I also don't think it's appropriate to reveal deeply personal things on a blog I sometimes promote on my resume and networking vehicles attached to my name. So, I'm going to be deleting all posts of the sort and re-focusing future content on pretty clothes, pretty apartments, pretty everything...along with some pretty adorbz kitty pictures and rambling social commentary. Good stuff, right?
Signed,
The Management
